Export database
The export database function will export all dancer, tip, and configuration data from the database into an export file with the default name "dancer.data".
This dancer.data file can be used to restore the current program state after a drop database (followed by a create database) using the import function.
As this function also exports the current tip data, you can use it for a later analysis using the statistics functions from the admin menu.
The export files are also useful to share data of newly created dancers with other clubs. In that case the recipient of the "dancer.data" file would do an import using the "only new dancers" option.
We recommend to use the export database on a regular basis to avoid a loss of data.
