Special barcodes
The special barcodes function on the admin screen (abbreviated "SP-Barcodes") allows to print a set of "special barcodes".
These barcodes are not formatted to be printed on labels, but the intention is to print them on thicker paper that is cut into cards which are placed near the scanner so that dancers will be able to modify their settings without help of the operator.
The special barcodes are used as a "prefix" for the dancer barcodes. This means that you scan a special barcode first, and one or to dancer barcodes afterwards. This will apply a special function to the dancer records (e.g. set them to "belle and beau").
Currently, the program supports these special barcodes:
BELLE, BEAU, BOTH
Changes the dance position of a dancer to belle, beau or belle and beau.
This special barcode requires one dancer barcode to be scanned afterwards.COUPLE
This will couple to dancers, i.e. the program will try to have those dancers dance together as a couple and to avoid separating them.
This special barcode requires two dancer barcodes to be scanned afterwards.
Note 1: With the current program version, coupling will only work correctly when one of the dancers is beau only and the other is belle only. If one of the dancers it set to both, or - even worse - both dancers dance the same position - separation might occur.
Note 2: If one of the dancers of a couple is absent, the coupling is ignored and the present dancer will rotate single.
Note 3: Coupling will remain intact until explicitly split or until one of the dancers is coupled to a different partner.SPLIT

Note: It is assumed that a dancer also dances all the lower programs, too, i.e. scanning "PrA1" will set all programs from Basic to A1.APP (New in v2.1e)
Creates a security code for a dancer to be used in the Android app to allow him to change his presence status directly from the app.
This special barcode requires one dancer barcode to be scanned afterwards.
A common misconception of dancers is the assumption, that using a special barcode will log them on to the system. This is wrong! Dancer presence is totally independend from the other dancer attributes. We recommend to tell dancers to log on to the system first, and to change attributes afterwards. Often on a log on the system indicates that the status that the dancer wanted to set (e.g. dancing only beau or being coupled to a fixed partner) has already been set in an earlier dance session.
